282 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in 24 Hours

KABUL – Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported Monday, that out of 1,323 samples taken for COVID-19, 282 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 140,435 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 7,317 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 42 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and eight individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 87, Nangarhar 41, Ghazni 28, Kandahar 23, Balkh 15, Bamiyan 12, Baghlan 5, Daikundi four, Parwan 39, Nimruz 4, Logar 4, Helmand 5, Maidan Wardak 4, Panjshir 4 and Zabul 7.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 44,988, Total deaths are 1,695 and the total recoveries are recorded 35,976.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 58,666,247and the dead are reported to more than 1,388,272 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
