95 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Afghanistan

KABUL – Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported 95 new positive cases of COVID-19 from 489 samples tested in Afghanistan within the last 24 hours.
According to BNA report, five patients have died due to coronavirus, while 68 others have recovered within the last 24 hours in the country.
With this, the total cases are now 41,032, the total reported deaths are 1,523 and total recoveries are 34,217 in Afghanistan.
Officials in Ministry of Public Health reported that 5,292 active cases of COVID-19 among patients at under their care as Tuesday morning in Afghanistan and 93 patients are in critical conditions.
It is mentionable that until now 120,914 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 43,539,290 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,160,213 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
