Afghan Special Forces Kill Taliban Shadow District Chief

MAYMANA – The Afghan Special Forces killed the shadow district chief of Taliban for Andkhoi district of Faryab province, Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement.
As per statement, the Special Forces killed Mullah Raz Mohammad, the shadow district chief of Taliban for Andkhoi district.
“The Special Forces killed Mullah Raz Mohammad during an operation in Jat Kok Village,” the 209th Shaheen Corps statement added.
Furthermore, the Special Forces killed 9 fighters of Raz Mohammad during the same operation.
The fighting seems to have intensified between Taliban and Afghan forces as talks between US and Taliban continue.
Taliban have not confirmed the incident so far.
