Black Panther Returns to the Cinema for free Screenings During Black History Month

To celebrate Black History Month, Marvel will be screened twice daily at 250 participating CMA theater locations from February 1 to 7.
Disney has also announced a $1.5 million grant to the UNCF, which funds scholarships for black students.
“Black Panther is innovative for many reasons, including the great diversity of voices that drove its success,” said Bob Iger, President and CEO of Walt Disney Company, in a statement.
“History also shows the power of knowledge to change the world for the better and the sake of ensuring that everyone has access to it.”
The film’s distribution was rewarded with an outstanding performance by an actor in a film at the SAG Awards on Sunday, January 27th.
He also won seven Oscar nominations last week, becoming the first ever superhero movie for Best Picture.
