Bus Crash Kills One, Injures 40 in Baghlan

PUL-E-KHUMRI – At least 40 people have been wounded and one killed as a passenger bus flipped over in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Monday.
The incident happened in Girdab area of Baghlan-e-Markazi district, said Javed Basharat, a spokesperson for provincial police.
He said that police were transferring the injured people to hospital, where the medical teams were ready to provide them medical and support facilities.
The official blamed negligence of the driver for the crash.
Every year thousands of people become the victim of road accidents in different parts of country because of poor road conditions and insufficient road safety measures.
