Houthi Rebel Group Attack Saudi Aramco Facility

SANAA – The Houthi rebel group in Yemen announced Monday morning that it had targeted a facility of the Saudi state oil company Aramco in Jeddah with a missile.
“The missile force successfully targeted the Aramco distribution station in Jeddah with a winged Quds 2 missile,” group military spokesman, Yahya Sarea, said.
The rocket hit its target with precision and “Saudi ambulances and firefighting vehicles rushed to the targeted location,” he added.
The attack came in response to the continued Saudi intervention in Yemen, the spokesperson said.
He warned foreign companies operating in Saudi Arabia that the group’s activities continue and they should stay away from vital facilities as they are on the target list.
There was no immediate comment from the Saudi side on the incident.
