Iranian Drones Capture Close Footage of USS Nimitz

TEHRAN – Advanced crewless aerial vehicles operated by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) managed to capture surprisingly close footage of an American strike group, led by USS Nimitz, just before it passed through the Gulf Persian across the Strait of Hormuz.
The video was released on Thursday by IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency.
The drones are seen zooming in on the flotilla to the point where details of each object captured become visible.
The footage begins by showing a sprawling arrangement of the Corps’ drone fleet and speedboats and is accompanied by a speech from the force’s commander-in-chief, Major General Hossein Salami, addressing enemies of the country.
“We say this to our enemies too because they are close to us, listen to our voice and see images illustrating the growth of this manifestation of power,” General Salami said.
“Take a healthy lesson. If you make a mistake, we’ll crush you,” he said.
The commander notes: “Our naval force has ceased to operate [too] close to the sea. Gradually it will become a naval force equipped with an [accompanying] air force, a maritime air force. Here we stand firmly and firmly. We are developing our power. We never stop. We are advancing on the horizon. We are increasing the combat radius of our weapons,” official note.
