More Than 965,000 Dead As Coronavirus Bounces Around the World

TEHRAN – More than 31.2 million people worldwide have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, and more than 965,000 have died, and more than 22.8 million people have recovered, Johns Hopkins University reported.
According to the latest figures on Monday, 31,239,588 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus worldwide, with deaths reaching 965,065 and recoveries reaching 22,833,523.
With 7,004,768 cases of the coronavirus, the United States has the highest number of confirmed infections in the world with the death toll has reached at least 204,118.
India has recorded more than 5.4 million cases. About 100,000 new infections and over 1,000 deaths are reported every day.
Brazil comes third with 4,544,629 infections and 136,895 deaths.
Russia confirmed 6,148 new cases on Sunday, bringing the country’s official numbers to 1,103,399 as the number of new infections across the country continues to rise.
Next comes Peru, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Argentina, France and Chile in terms of infection.
