Pakistani Army Destroys Terrorist Network: ISPR

RAWALPINDI – The Pakistani military killed two commanders of an Indian RAW-sponsored terrorist network during an operation in Bajaur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, military media, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement on Monday evening.
“A major terrorist network was neutralized while security forces were carrying out an IBO [intelligence-based operation] operation on a hideout near Tangi village, Bajaur district,” ISPR said, adding that two terrorist commanders – identified as Zubair and Aziz Ur Rehman aka Fida – were killed in a close encounter.
According to the Pakistani army, the two men and their network were involved in terrorist activities in Bajaur and Karachi.
“They have been implicated in a number of terrorist incidents against LEAs, government officials and innocent civilians,” the ISPR added.
“The network was coordinating terrorist activities in various parts of Pakistan and receiving direct orders from their RAW-sponsored leaders across the border,” he said.
