Uzbekistan, South Korea Discuss Interparliamentary Cooperation

TASHKENT – Uzbekistan’s Senate Speaker, Tanzila Narbaeva, met with her South Korean counter part, Byeong-seug, on April 6 in Tashkent.
The Speakers of both countries took note of the intensification of the interparliamentary dialogue between two countries.
The means of strengthening bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting, including the implementation of agreements concluded between heads of state, the development of relations between line parliamentary committees, international parliamentary structures and organizations, creation of the regulatory framework.
The parties considered it necessary to intensify the Uzbek-Korean parliamentary dialogue.
The importance of the exchange of experiences in the creation of laws to support reforms and socio-economic development, faster ratification of bilateral agreements was noted during the discussions.
