WASHINGTON – Pentagon informed about the adjustment of the agreement for the purchase of ScanEagle unmanned ethereal vehicles for the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) on Monday.
Pentagon officials said in an announcement, “Insitu Inc., Bingen, Washington, is granted $10,826,778 for alteration P00004 to a formerly issued firm-settled value conveyance arrange (N6833518F0050) set against fundamental requesting understanding N68335-16-G-0046.”
The announcement additionally included, “This change accommodates the acquisition of 27 ScanEagle unmanned airplane frameworks, 37 payloads and extras in help of the administration of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Bingen, Washington, and is relied upon to be finished in December 2019.”
