Saudi Crown Prince Acknowledges Pakistan’s Efforts Towards Regional Peace

JEDDAH – Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, in a meeting with the Pakistani Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, recognized Pakistan’s role and efforts in favor of peace and regional stability, the ISPR said on Friday.
Gen. Bajwa is currently in Saudi Arabia where he will meet with Saudi officials.
He also called on Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman today.
“During these meetings, issues of mutual interest, the regional security situation, including recent developments in the Afghan peace process, bilateral defense, security, collaboration for regional peace and connectivity have been discussed,” said the media branch of the Pakistani military.
Gen. Bajwa said Pakistan is steadfast in its commitment to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia and to defend the two holy mosques.
The Crown Prince recognized Pakistan’s role in regional peace and stability.
Mohammed bin Salman stressed that the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are based on Islamic brotherhood and mutual trust.
